Csr and sustainability policy statement
The management of D&C Engineering pursues a policy that strives to contribute to the sustainable development of our living environment. In the context of Corporate Social Responsibility, D&C Engineering strives to reduce CO2 emissions and to make the relationship with its stakeholders more sustainable (within the requirements of reasonableness) as well in corporate responsibility as in the execution of our assignments. All business activities are focused on creating long-term values. To this end, D&C Engineering acts in accordance with the core values of integrity, respect and freedom.
The passion for the profession is used for a sustainable society. The quality of our society and the diversity of our ecosystems together form the basis for the success of our economy. D&C Engineering sees it as its responsibility to make an inspiring and demonstrable contribution to this. D&C Engineering focuses on a respectful and careful mix with people, environment and resources.
NEN-ISO 26000 is used as an international guideline in the field of CSR. There is no certification for this directive. D&C ENGINEERING however follows this guideline in its entirety. The balance applied within CSR between the economic and (regulatory) technical feasibility is continuously monitored.
Making business operations more sustainable within D&C Engineering is a continuous process. To this end, D&C Engineering continuously invests in the development of its employees, in line with the needs of the organization. Time is also created for passion, collaboration and team spirit.
Making a social contribution with the combination of knowledge, time and money fits D&C Engineering, since its foundation in 1985 and also in the future.
Sustainability is the thread running throughout the organization. The concepts of insight, reduction, communication and initiatives are recurring aspects within the theme of sustainability. From 2010, the CO2 footprint of D&C Engineering is determined annually. This serves as a starting point for the policy and objectives regarding CO2 reduction within the organization.
